- On June 27, 2018, AM Best assigned an FSR of A- (Excellent) and a Long-Term ICR of “a-” to AmFirst Life Insurance Company I.I. (San Juan, Puerto Rico). The outlook assigned to these Credit Ratings (ratings) is stable. AmFirst Life Insurance Company I.I. is a newly added member of AmFirst Holdings, Inc., which already includes AmFirst Insurance Company, Monitor Life, and TPM Life.
2017
- AmFirst Life Insurance Company, I.I. (AmFirst Life), formerly AmFirst Ltd., was formed in Puerto Rico in September to provide life, dental, vision, disability, medical, savings, and investment opportunities to policyholders in Latin America, Asia, and the Caribbean. AmFirst Life received its license on December 5, 2017.
